Private Markets Due Diligence Analyst

Job Summary The Chief Investment Office (CIO) serves as the centralized resource to access the latest insights and solutions across the enterprise. It helps advisors establish a disciplined investment process and offers goals‑based strategies grounded in the firm’s best thinking. The Private Market Due Diligence Analyst leads the investment due‑diligence process for new funds added to the platform, providing in‑depth analysis, memos, commentaries, and presenting findings to committees. Responsibilities Lead the investment due‑diligence process from start to finish on new funds added to the platform, including sourcing and analyzing investments and monitoring existing fund investments. Write detailed investment memos and commentaries and present findings to committees, advisors, and clients. Work on team projects and collaborate with Investment Solutions Group (ISG) and business lines. Travel approximately 25% to meet fund managers and attend annual meetings. Qualifications Minimum of 7+ years of investment experience with a strong focus on private market investments, including private credit, buyout, venture capital, real‑estate, or infrastructure. Strong understanding of illiquid private‑market strategies and experience in sourcing high‑quality fund investments. Proficiency in company‑specific modeling and valuation skills to assess underlying private company investments. Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills, with the ability to synthesize information. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; able to convey findings to senior executives and committees. Employment of senior‑executive relationship management and team collaboration across ISG and business lines. Series 7 and 66 licenses or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire. Master’s degree preferred; advanced designation (CFA, CAIA, CPA) preferred. Proficiency with Excel, Thompson One, Preqin, and Cambridge data for modeling purposes.
