Dr. Samia Hardan is seeking a passionate and skilled part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our periodontal specialty practice. Requirements

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Proficient in documentation review and maintaining accurate, compliant medical records.
Knowledge of dental procedure coding advantageous.
Skilled in periodontal charting and patient assessments.
Current CPR certification required.
Strong patient education skills with the ability to communicate effectively about oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Job Description

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal assessments while strictly adhering to aseptic and infection control protocols.
Conduct thorough documentation reviews to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary guidance tailored to periodontal health.
Assist in developing individualized care plans based on patient medical histories and current periodontal status.
Utilize Denticon software efficiently for managing patient records, updating periodontal charting, and organizing scheduling.
Collaborate closely with Dr. Hardan and the dental team to provide integrated care, including assisting during periodontal procedures when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the dental operatory in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Stay current on medical terminology, dental coding, and best practices in dental hygiene and periodontal care.
Take and interpret digital radiographs as needed to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
