Description
PAY: $16/hr Schedule: Requires open availability, weekends as needed.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:
- Loading and unloading of trucks, make sure all merchandise is labeled with a destination using a scan gun properly
- Removing any damaged merchandise and take to repair shop
- Stage merchandise in correct area within the warehouse in a timely fashion
- Assembly/disassembly of merchandise
- Keep warehouse area clean, removing trash from work area, sweeping work area
- Inspect merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections
- Loading customer merchandise, make all necessary copies and paperwork for the Control Booth and obtain customer signatures on waivers, knowledge of correct ticket procedures
- Gathering empty boxes and breaking them down, sweeping warehouse, operating the trash compactor, move items lift trucks or carts
- Account for all scheduled items for next day delivery, checking for shortages through auditing the manifest; use proper procedures when working with knifes, flat carts, and lifting merchandise
- Assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed; check daily closing assignments and responsibilities; use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
- Perform any other duties as directed by management

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
