Registered Nurse Pediatric Specialists of Virginia Fairfax, Virginia, United States About this position Registered Nurse Overview PSV has an employment opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role will support PSV’s Neurology Outpatient Clinic in Fairfax, VA. The position is full‑time Monday‑Friday with clinical hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Program Description PSV’s Neurology program consists of board‑certified pediatric neurologists and epileptologists who are specially trained in child neurology and pediatric epilepsy. The program delivers compassionate, comprehensive care for children and adolescents with nervous system challenges and emphasizes collaboration with patients and families to ensure the most effective treatments. Job Description Analyzes assessment data gathered from patients and families to ensure completion of database and plan of care within identified timeframes. Role models excellent clinical skills with complex patients; care reflects analysis of patient status and appropriate interventions. Directs prioritization and organization for complex patients; care reflects analysis of patient status and appropriate interventions. Documentation exemplifies adherence to the highest standards of practice. Anticipates and proactively plans for educational needs verified with patients and families throughout the outpatient stay and prior to discharge. Excels in organizational skills, adjusts for changes, and is able to complete assignments on time. Role Models caring in all encounters with patients and families as evidenced by feedback from parents and increased patient satisfaction scores. Minimum Qualifications Required Graduated from an approved school of nursing. Valid licensure in the state of Virginia as a Registered Nurse. Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
