Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
As an OR RN Circulator with scrub experience preferred, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures by ensuring optimal patient care, safety, and operating room efficiency. This position requires collaboration with surgical teams to manage perioperative processes effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and assisting the surgical team.
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond promptly to any changes.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized, functioning, and available.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including maintaining proper infection control and documentation.
• Support post-operative care activities, including patient transfer and documentation of surgical events.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of combined perioperative experience (permanent or comparable).
• Demonstrate active certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Provide a recent manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from within the past 12 months.
• Must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen within the past year, unless exempted.
