Temp Registered Nurse (RN) Observation

Seeking an experienced Observation RN to assess, implement, and monitor patient care for patients assigned to observation status.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing care according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, transfers, call lights, and responding to alarms.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the care team to update care plans.
• Process and carry out provider orders accurately and promptly.
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Observation RN experience Required.
• Epic EMR experience Preferred.
• Active Michigan RN license Required.
• Current AHA BLS Required.
• Current specialty skills checklist Required.
• 2 supervisory references completed within the past 2 years Required.
