You'll work closely with residents as they develop expertise in diagnosis, treatment planning, interdisciplinary care, and evidence-based orthodontic practice while providing mentorship and guidance throughout their educational journey. This role is ideal for an orthodontic professional who is passionate about teaching, patient care, and shaping the future of the specialty through excellence in education, research, and service. ## **What You'll Do and Why You'll Love This Role:*** Shape the future of orthodontics by teaching and mentoring residents in both classroom and clinical settings, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and clinical judgment needed to become successful specialists.* Make a lasting impact on resident success by guiding learners through their training, assessing their progress, and supporting their journey toward clinical competency and professional excellence.* Blend education with patient care by overseeing and providing orthodontic treatment in a collaborative clinical environment while modeling evidence-based, patient-centered care.* Help advance the profession by integrating biomedical sciences, current research, and specialty best practices into meaningful learning experiences that prepare residents for today's evolving healthcare landscape.* Stay at the forefront of innovation by utilizing emerging technologies, specialty-specific certifications, and modern treatment approaches that support exceptional education and patient outcomes. ## **What You'll Bring:*** DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent.* Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from a CODA accredited US or Canadian dental school.* Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada at the time of application and receive licensure within 3 months of hire. ## **What Makes You Successful**## You are someone who: Is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and helping orthodontic residents develop into confident, skilled specialists.
