Main Line, PA | Full-Time | In Office

Our client is a well-established boutique title agency committed to protecting homeownership and real estate investments through exceptional title insurance and settlement services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Settlement Officer to join their team on the Main Line.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused title professional who enjoys managing transactions from contract to close while delivering an outstanding client experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 plus commission (commensurate with experience)

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Primarily office-based with some scheduling flexibility

Position Summary

The Settlement Officer is responsible for managing residential real estate transactions from opening through post-closing. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and compliant closing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage title and settlement transactions from opening through post-closing
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Prepare, review, and verify closing packages and settlement documents
• Conduct closings and ensure all parties understand required documentation
• Identify and resolve title, lien, and closing-related issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, lender requirements, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the transaction
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple transactions simultaneously
• Support process improvements and operational best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in title processing, settlement coordination, or closing operations
• Experience managing files through post-closing required
• Strong knowledge of residential real estate transactions, title processes, and settlement procedures
• Outstanding client service and relationship management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with SoftPro and/or Simplifile preferred
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
