Position Title Branch Banking Client Consultant I – West Hempstead NY Location West Hempstead, NY 11552 Job Summary The Branch Banking Client Consultant I delivers front‑line client service and transactional support by welcoming clients, identifying their needs, and performing teller functions and financial transactions accurately, efficiently, and in a friendly manner. The role supports branch success by maintaining operational accuracy and risk standards while also supporting sales performance through client introductions, education, and collaboration with branch teammates. It aims to create a positive and trusted branch experience where clients feel supported, informed, and connected to the right financial solutions while their everyday banking needs are handled accurately and efficiently. Job Responsibilities Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the appropriate team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives. Client Experience: Provide a positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints, and by researching and communicating resolutions in a timely and effective manner. Deliver client engagement and education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including introductions. Risk Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions; strive for no controllable preventable losses. Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations. Additional Accountabilities: Perform special projects and additional duties as required. Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job, and complete required compliance training. Job Requirements Required Qualifications: Education level required – High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent. Minimum experience required – Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
