Senior Master Technician

Nelson Auto Center is Hiring!We are a busy dealership that is seeking a Senior Master Technician experienced in heavy line repair and diagnostics. Preferred applicants should have either technical college training or real-world experience. The current opening is with our Ford franchise, but we also have the GM and Ram, Jeep franchises.To achieve proper certification, we use training programs through the Ford, Chrysler, and GM. We provide a modern shop with a great pay plan / benefits package, as well as the latest technology and equipment.We are located in the fabulous Minnesota Lakes Country and are willing to pay a generous relocation allowance and signing bonus.Benefits:Competitive Pay (Based on experience) - Relocation Allowance and Signing Bonus!Health, Medical and Dental401K PlanPaid time off and vacationGrowth opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase plansFamily owned and operatedUniform providedLong term job securityFlexible Work ScheduleResponsibilities:Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.Provide accurate and detailed reports of repairs and services performed.Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and follows manufacturer specifications.Continually maintain and update technical knowledge and skills through training and certifications.Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and services and address any concerns or questions.Collaborate with the service team to maintain a clean and organized work area.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a Master Technician certification requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ford Certification preferredASE Certification a plusThorough knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and components.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
