Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position will require weekday and weekend call coverage, typically amounting to 6-7 shifts in a 4-week period.

Requirements

Valid California RN License
BLS and ACLS Certification
Previous experience in a Cath Lab environment
Ability to participate in weekend call coverage

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
Experience working with various patient ratios
Familiarity with charting systems, specifically at community hospitals
Previous experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Trauma Levels I and II is preferred

Compliance and Documentation

All candidates are required to complete a 7-year work history verification. Candidates must accurately provide work history information and may need to supply documentation or contacts for verification purposes.

Compliance documents must be submitted 10 days prior to the start date.

Additional Information

The facility typically accommodates various patient age groups and requires the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary support environment. Participation in ongoing professional development through modules is expected and necessary for orientation.
