Key Responsibilities

• Food Delivery: Transport food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that orders are delivered in the correct sequence and to the right table.
• Order Verification: Check that all items on the order are present and meet quality standards before delivery. Verify that special requests and dietary restrictions are accurately addressed.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and professionally when delivering food. Address any immediate concerns or issues with orders promptly and courteously.
• Coordination with Kitchen and Service Staff: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Work closely with servers to manage the flow of food and ensure smooth service.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep food running stations and service areas clean and organized. Ensure that dishes, utensils, and other service items are properly handled and cleaned.
• Assisting with Table Service: Assist servers with additional tasks such as refilling beverages, clearing tables, or resetting tables as needed.
• Handling Special Requests: Accommodate special requests from guests and relay them to the kitchen or service staff as required.
• Monitoring Supplies: Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the supervisor or kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not always required.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to carry trays and lift heavy items as needed.
• Attire: Adherence to the restaurant's dress code and hygiene standards.
