Speech Language Pathologist

Alief Independent School District (Alief ISD) serves a diverse community in southwest Houston, Texas, spanning 36.6 square miles. With an enrollment of approximately 33,000 students. Located in the International district of Houston, Alief ISD is one of the most ethnically diverse districts in the area and over 85 different languages spoken by our students. Role Description We are seeking a full-time on-site Speech-Language Pathologists or Clinical Fellowship (CF) to join Alief ISD in Houston, TX. In this role, the Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct evaluations, develop individual treatment plans, and implement speech, language, and communication interventions for students with various needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create an inclusive educational environment and compiling student progress reports. The role requires maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines and contributing to the overall development of the student’s communication skills for academic and social success. What we are looking for Ability to effectively manage a caseload and adapt practices to meet the unique needs of each student Ability to supervise is preferred Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship (CF) #J-18808-Ljbffr
