South Lyon Animal Clinic is excited to add a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our fun-loving, team-oriented practice where flexibility, collaboration and high-quality medicine go hand in hand. We are a multi-doctor, small animal/exotic hospital with a sister locations in Walled Lake and Farmington Hills. Our team is happy-go-lucky, supportive and always ready to help each other out. Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician , you are an important part of our clinical team and your duties will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgeries.
• Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.
• Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography, bloodwork, and urinalysis.
• Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
• Conducting dental cleanings and using digital dental radiography.
• Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Licensed Veterinary Technician Required (LVT) and at least 1 year of experience as an LVT
• Skills: Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities.
• Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Schedule: Must be available for Saturdays as needed

Compensation, Perks & More

• $25- $30/h r - depending on experience!
• Sign on bonus of $500 ( $250 at first check and other $250 after 90 days)
