Job Title: Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics
Location: Fremont, CA
Duration: 12-month contract (Temp-to-Perm opportunity)
Pay: $28.50–$32/hour on W2
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PST
Interview: Onsite
Job Summary:
Seeking a Gas & Chemical (Megasys) Technician to support gas/chemical inventory, equipment operations, material handling, and logistics activities at a semiconductor manufacturing site. The role involves managing gas and chemical systems, inventory, shipments, equipment troubleshooting, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage gas and chemical inventory, receiving, returns, ordering, and shipments.
- Track gas usage and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using Excel.
- Safely handle gas cylinders, chemical ampoules/drums, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Support installation, decommissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gas and chemical delivery systems.
- Perform cylinder and drum changes and troubleshoot gas, chemical, and slurry equipment.
- Follow safety, quality, operating, and maintenance procedures and support emergency response activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory and operational documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Support projects, training, quality programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience with gas/chemical systems, preferably in semiconductor or wafer fabrication environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with inventory management and material handling.
- Forklift certification/experience and barcode experience are a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and emergency-response procedures.
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lb cylinders and ampoules.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
