Sales Representative

Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care.

Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Sales Representative to help grow our business by identifying potential customers, building relationships, and supporting the sales process from initial outreach through follow-up. This role is well suited for a motivated communicator who enjoys working with people and achieving results in a remote environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Identify and contact potential customers through phone, email, and other channels

• Respond to inquiries and provide information about our services

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers

• Follow up on leads and ongoing sales opportunities

• Maintain accurate customer and sales information

• Coordinate with internal teams to support customer needs

• Keep track of sales activities and follow-ups

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, or a similar role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Confident and professional approach to customer conversations

• Good organization and follow-up skills

• Comfortable working with computers and customer information systems

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment

• Reliable internet connection and workspace

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous remote sales experience

• Experience with CRM or sales management systems

• Experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or care environments

• Experience with outbound sales or lead generation

COMPENSATION

$45,000–$60,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.
