In this position, you will focus on Channel meetings, Mass Market customers and driving application-level business opportunities through early customer engagement. Focus will be on the Industrial market, including applications in Building and Industrial Automation. This can include door locks, building security, HVAC and other technologies enabling next-generation technologies. The role will be the regional lead for ensuring our local distributor partners have a share of mind of our NPIs and Solutions. You will work with Sales, Product Group partners and the Solutions Team to formulate a plan for engagement with all local Distributor Partners.ResponsibilitiesChannel Engagement PlanningWork with Product Groups and the Solutions Team to plan the release scheduleBuilding a marketing plan around the release scheduleWork with Sales on Engagement PlanCustomer Engagement & Opportunity DevelopmentPresent at Distributor officesHold Workshops with Distributors and Customers on new Solutions and NPI’sSupport team in building relationships with key accounts and ecosystem partners (internal and external)Guide the identification of solution-level and product-level opportunities and differentiation across key industrial segmentsSolution Enablement & EvangelismDirect the promotion and positioning of relevant application-focused solutions.Champion cross-business solution initiatives at a strategic levelCross-Functional CollaborationFacilitate collaboration between the BD team, field sales, FAEs, marketing, and business unitsRepresent the regional voice in corporate planning and solution developmentFeed market intelligence back into business unitsQualifications8+ years of experience in business development, marketing or technical salesThis is a remote role based in the San Diego area; candidates must be locally based to be consideredDeep understanding of the Industrial market, with experience in Building Automation, Industrial Automation, or Energy sectorsProven ability to follow up on leads and develop relationships in the fieldStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environmentEducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related fieldAdditional InformationThe expected annual pay range for this position is $166,000 - $208,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities.
