Responsibilities Serve as the clinical leader on the unit, overseeing resident care from admission through discharge Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure residents receive high-quality care in accordance with individualized care plans Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in health status Participate in care plan meetings and communicate effectively with residents and families Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Assist with admissions, discharges, and clinical documentation Provide guidance, education, and mentorship to nursing staff Promote a positive team environment focused on resident-centered care Requirements Current RN License in New York CPR Certification Nursing Degree (ASN or BSN) Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting required Prior supervisory or leadership experience required Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and coordinate activities of the nursing unit Excellent communication and leadership abilities If you are ready to make a difference in your life and the lives of your colleagues and residents, apply today!
