Job Description The Sales Operations Analyst develops, implements and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (pricing, orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment. Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. This role has a preference for candidates to be near one of the HPE sites listed, and work in a hybrid capacity, but may be open to teleworkers. The role will be supporting a Federal customer so does require US citizenship. Responsibilities Responsible for the design and implementation of processes and tools to provide sales forecasting, analytics and metrics, order management, and operations support across US channel partners. Consults with senior business leaders to identify relevant analytics, metrics and outcomes for the assigned areas Working within overall sales operations framework, including forecasts and budgets, to meet resource and sales client needs Manages and expands relationships with internal and external partners and clients for quality audits, quality management and building quality culture. Provides domain-specific expertise and overall quality leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and initiatives into sales operations tools and activities Education And Experience Required 5+ years’ experience business operations, or similar areas of business, if a candidate is qualified and does not have the exact experience, we would encourage to apply so the team can see if you would potentially be a fit! 3+ years prior experience in enterprise technology environment Prior experience with SFDC and Oracle Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PP, Word. Strong excel skills needed Data and financial analytics experience Ability to communicate and build relationships within the business and with external customers Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment AI experience preferred Experience working with external customers is a plus Ability to adapt to changing circumstances within the business Experience working with and interacting with Senior sales management Experience as an SME or Team Lead Collaborating with the sales team to ensure they have the resources and knowledge to meet their targets. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and reporting to supply chain and demand planning teams. Bachelor's/Master's degree, or equivalent work experience Knowledge And Skills Experience designing and implementing overall process and tools management and improvement frameworks to provide operations support for sales activities Excellent analytical, statistics and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of and experience in applying business and sales operations practices and process design to situations Evaluating forms of forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying sales and operational resources and activities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively communicate sales operations architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels. Collaborating with the US Channel Partners to ensure they have the resources and knowledge to meet their targets. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 105,500 - 200,500 in Massachusetts // 105,500 - 213,500 in California // 92,600 - 213,500 in Texas The listed salary range reflects base salary.
