Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification
Experience working with children or adolescents with disabilities or learning differences
Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to differentiate instruction based on individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and assess individualized education programs (IEPs)
Adapt and deliver lessons to meet diverse learning styles and abilities
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other specialists
Communicate progress with families and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
