Directional Drill Operator (Ditch Witch Specialist)
- Job Type: Full-time | Underground Power Utility Installation
- Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator to safely and accurately install underground power infrastructure using Ditch Witch HDD rigs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Ditch Witch directional drills to install underground power utilities according to job specs and depth requirements.
- Perform pre-trip inspections, daily maintenance, and proper setup of drilling equipment and fluid mixing systems.
- Collaborate closely with the locator to execute precise bore paths and navigate around existing underground utilities.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Ditch Witch directional drills in utility construction.
- Deep understanding of soil conditions, fluid management, and OSHA/utility safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL Class A preferred).
