Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organizational and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service. Salary and Schedule Details Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 - $17.00 depending on your skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions. Part‑time employees have access to voluntary benefits such as medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and preventive care. This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week. Average weekly hours are 4‑6 per week. Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required. Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Your Role and Responsibilities Day‑to‑day engagement: Utilize a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for daily work, communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and responding to surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during holiday periods such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Work may be required on the holidays themselves. Department resets: Participate in installations, installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Notify two weeks in advance; assignments may include evenings or weekends. Team collaboration: Support other team members as needed within the network of Hallmark field merchandisers. Physical Requirements This physically demanding job requires high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may climb stairs and step ladders. Basic Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Read, write, and understand English. Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents. Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet. Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
