About the Role:
Bluemind Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our growing team in Ypsilanti, MI. In this rewarding role, you'll make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of individuals by delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions. Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect accurate and consistent data on client behavior and progress during each session
- Provide 1:1 direct therapy to clients in home, clinic, or community settings
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
- Maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients and their families
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing supervision sessions
- Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and safety protocols consistently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities preferred
- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is a plus or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, or weekends
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check and meet all state compliance requirements
