In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and management of the golf courses. Supervise the maintenance of the golf courses, minor construction projects, course additions, and the maintenance and repair of motorized mechanical equipment. Required to stand and walk – Constantly Required to push, pull, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds – Frequently Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather – Regularly Exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals – Occasionally Required to work days/nights, weekends, and holidays. Required to stand for long periods of time (up to 9 hours). Typical work hours – 5+ days/week, from sunrise to late afternoon The ideal candidatewill have at least 3 years of golf maintenance leadership experience and4 years of well-rounded golf course experience.A minimum two-year turf certificate in turf grass management from a recognized college or university. Certified pesticide applicator in the state of Arizona or the ability to obtain upon hire. Must have a valid driver's license.
