Join our culture of caring and make a positive and lasting impact on health care for millions.This position serves the patients, providers and other support staff by performing tests using the appropriate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-rays and performing routine diagnostic procedures as directed by providers.Primary Responsibilities:Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking X-rays following established proceduresInstructs patients regarding proceduresFollows prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipmentSelects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basisExamines radiologic images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortionInsures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisorProcesses routine paperworkMaintains patient confidentialityParticipates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliationsMaintains strictest confidentialityPerforms other duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2+ years) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRTCurrent Oregon license in diagnostic radiographyCurrent certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certificationPreferred Qualification:Experience with an electronic medical record systemPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment.
