who will practice at our

Federal Way and Auburn

locations.

Cardiologist

will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group multi-specialty practice serving the greater South Puget Sound region of Washington State.

Opportunity Highlights: Center for Cardiovascular Health : The

Center for Cardiovascular Health

at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists, among other specialists. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.

Position Details:

Cover cath lab, primarily for primary PCI and ad hoc PCI for ACS patients at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way. This includes patients already in the hospital or those transferred from other facilities. Coverage may include scheduled outpatients who may need outpatient cath/PCI. Provide general and interventional cardiology backup for other general cardiologists during primary and back up call.

Call:

The anticipated call frequency is 1:4 for interventional cardiology and 1:8 for general cardiology. Procedures include cardiac caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, and TVP.

Compensation:

$261.00/hour. Call compensation; $1025.00 per 24 hour call.

Job Requirements BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology.

Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA

Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for the specific practice.
