Primary Care Physician | Lake Hopatcong, NJ | $240K Base + Bonuses | Outpatient Only

Overview:
\n A thriving, community-based outpatient practice in Lake Hopatcong, NJ is seeking a Board-Certified or TRULY Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a flexible schedule, manageable patient volume, and a mix of clinical care and leadership within a collaborative, well-supported setting.

Position Highlights:

  Outpatient-only primary care setting

\n
• \n

  See 20–25 patients per day

\n
• \n

  Schedule: 36 clinical hours + 4 admin hours weekly
  (including rotating Saturday shifts and light call)

\n
• \n

  Treat patients of all ages across the continuum of care

\n
• \n

  Key responsibilities:

  • \n

    Preventive care, acute illness/injury management, and chronic disease treatment

  \n
  • \n

    Prescribe medications, vaccinations, order tests, and specialist referrals

  \n
  • \n

    Supervise support staff and provide team-based care direction

  \n
  • \n

    Ensure complete and accurate documentation per E/M and HCC coding standards

  \n

• \n

  EMR system: Athena

\n
• \n

  Full credentialing and privileging process required

\n

Compensation & Benefits:

  Base Salary: $220,000–$240,000 (based on experience and training)

\n

  Performance Bonus: Earn up to 35% of net collections after base draw

Candidate Requirements:

  Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) in Family or Internal Medicine – REQUIRED

  Active NJ license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

\n
• \n

  DEA , CDS/CSR , and BLS certifications (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

\n
• \n

  Clean malpractice history – REQUIRED
