Inside Sales Representative

International Leak Detection (ILD) is a rapidly growing business, and we are looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team and grow with us. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is early in their career and interested in building a future in sales and business development. Whether you're a recent college graduate or have a few years of professional experience, this role will provide hands‑on exposure to customers, sales, project coordination, and the day‑to‑day operations of a growing business. Working closely with the National Sales Manager and operations team, the Inside Sales Representative will help keep the sales process moving by preparing proposals, following up with customers, maintaining customer and project information, and providing support to the sales function. As ILD continues to grow, we expect this position to grow as well. The right person will have the opportunity to learn our business, develop customer relationships, build sales skills, and take on increasing responsibility over time. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the National Sales Manager to gather information needed to prepare accurate and timely proposals. Track outstanding proposals and proactively follow up with customers regarding proposal status, questions, approvals, and next steps. Maintain organized, up‑to‑date records of proposals, customer communications, and project information in Salesforce. Assist the National Sales Manager with customer correspondence, follow‑up activities, and day‑to‑day sales support. Help ensure approved proposals are transitioned smoothly from sales to operations. Learn ILD's services and sales process to become an increasingly valuable resource for customers and the sales team. Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other sales materials. Organize electronic files and maintain sales and customer documentation. Assist with data entry and general administrative activities supporting the Sales Manager and operations team. Provide support for customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and other sales activities. Stay informed on ILD's products, services, competitors, and industry trends. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Previous internships, customer service, sales support, or professional office experience is helpful but not required. Positive, can‑do attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow within a sales career path. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Familiar with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform (coursework or internship experience counts). Coursework, internship, or interest in construction, engineering, or the building sciences industry. Experience with proposal writing, quoting, or order processing.
