Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: - AHA/ARC Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required - AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: - Structural heart experience highly preferred - EP experience highly preferred - Travel experience highly preferred - Scrubbing experience preferred - Circulating monitoring experience required - Must be willing to float across campuses if needed - Trauma Level II experience required - Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation from within the past 24 months preferred - Driver's license required Description: The position involves providing nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. Candidates must have experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. The role may require floating across multiple locations as necessary. The contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays if the unit is open. Candidates must be able to precept as needed. A history of trauma experience is preferred but not mandatory. All applicants must submit a skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab discipline upon application.
