Primary courses of instruction will be Personal Finance, Intro to Business, and Marketing. Additional elective courses may be included. The position can be part-time or full-time depending on candidate hours of availability. The teacher will provide engaging, student-centered instruction that supports academic excellence and student social and emotional well-being. In addition to classroom teaching, responsibilities may include proctoring exams, supervising recess or lunch, and leading clubs or activities. Commitment to ensuring academic success for all students. Experience working with diverse student populations, preferred. Knowledge of business curriculum standards and instructional best practices. Ability to apply instructional materials, technology, and formative assessment data to instructional planning. Required license(s)/MTELs ESE License: Students with and without Disabilities, 9-12 and SEI Endorsement, or MTEL (including passing the Communication and Literacy Skills test and relevant subject matter knowledge tests).
