Automation Engineer – Manufacturing

The Automation Engineer wil support a high volume raw materials manufacturing operation in Alabama. This role focuses on improving plant efficiency through PLC programming, automation design, system integration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

Design and optimize automated manufacturing systems
Program and troubleshoot PLC and control systems
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment
Improve process efficiency and system reliability
Collaborate with cross functional engineering and operations teams

Requirements:

5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing
Strong PLC, electrical systems, and automation background (Prefer Allen Bradley and Siemens)
Problem solving mindset and hands on troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in an industrial environment
