Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician I - Student is a multi-skilled healthcare provider who supports the delivery of safe, effective, and cost-efficient patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. They perform a variety of routine tasks, including assisting with patient transport, transfers, and lifting, as well as performing cleaning functions in the patient care unit. They may also be responsible for performing selected diagnostic tests. The Patient Care Tech I applies knowledge of growth and development to provide consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs of each patient.

Job Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in a Future Ready High School Program or a High School Clinical Track program.

AHA Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) with 30 days of hire date
