Job Overview Shift Manager – Restaurant Franchise (Independent Franchisee). The employer is the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers perform tasks such as shift planning, monitoring performance, maintaining standards, overseeing safety, security, profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager. They may also be responsible for meeting targets during shifts and helping their departments meet goals. Key Duties Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
