Experience: Five (5) years of clinical experience which includes two (2) years in a comparable job position.

License: Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.

Certifications: A valid driver's license is preferred unless required by contract or applicable statute.

Must-Have: Current and active state license for LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

Description: The Mental Health Coordinator is responsible for planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature. This role involves conducting mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews. Treatment for individuals will be provided by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluations of needs and levels of functioning. Documentation of treatment and evaluation activities must be maintained in the health care record for each individual seen. Strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information must be upheld at all times. A thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques is required to provide effective treatments and activities for individuals in the caseload. Appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions must be provided to address the needs of individuals.
