Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• 5 days per week
• 40 hours per week
• 3 weekends per month
• Multiple shift options available:
  • Day: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM
  • Evening: 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM
  • Night: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and dependable LVN/LPNs to provide nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), psychiatric conditions, and dual diagnoses.

The ideal candidate will be clinically competent, reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to individuals with IDD, psychiatric conditions, and dual diagnoses.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.
• Provide safe, competent, and reliable nursing care.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Adapt quickly to changes and learn new procedures and information.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in required orientation, nursing education, and training.
• Maintain patient safety and provide appropriate support throughout each shift.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered LVN/LPN license required.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) required.
• Experience with psychiatric/behavioral health patients required.
• Experience with dual-diagnosis patients required.
• Strong clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new procedures and information quickly.
• Reliable and dependable work history.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a drug screening.

Orientation & Training

• Nurses must attend all required New Employee Orientation and Nursing Education sessions.
• Orientation and Nursing Education are scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for approximately 2 weeks.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential during the orientation period.
• Nurses are entitled to a 30-minute break during each 8-hour shift.
