About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Security Engineer who brings a strong combination of hands-on Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity Engineering experience.

This role will focus on designing, administering, securing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments .

The ideal candidate is a systems engineer who has personally operated security platforms and handled security remediation — not someone coming primarily from security governance, compliance, or analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 7+ years of systems, infrastructure, security, or infrastructure-security engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with SentinelOne, Darktrace, Tanium, Qualys, Zscaler, and/or Okta
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• DNS
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft 365
• Intune
• Azure
• Strong understanding of hybrid identity, authentication, Conditional Access, MFA, and least privilege
• Practical experience with:
• Endpoint Security
• Security Monitoring
• Vulnerability Management
• Incident Response
• Infrastructure Hardening
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, identity, endpoints, cloud, applications, and security tools
• Strong communication, documentation, prioritization, and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

• Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI
• VMware-to-Azure Local migrations
• SIEM and EDR administration
• Security log ingestion and detection engineering
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK
• Cloud and infrastructure migration experience
• Automated operational reporting
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, Microsoft, Azure, or Cloud Security

Ideal Background

The strongest candidates will have a Systems Engineering foundation with real-world security engineering responsibilities , including infrastructure ownership, security platform administration, vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, identity security, and incident response.
