About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Supply Chain to provide strategic leadership and optimization of end-to-end supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals, drive operational excellence, and support long-term business growth. This executive role requires a proven track record in procurement, planning, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations, with a strong focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional initiatives, overseeing strategic sourcing and procurement, establishing inventory management strategies, directing logistics and distribution operations, and driving process improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, and technology. Applicants for the Vice President of Supply Chain position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 15 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience. The role demands a leader with a strong understanding of ERP systems, supply chain technologies, and data analytics, as well as excellent financial acumen and experience in managing large operational budgets. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational improvements, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and PMP are preferred. The role also requires a leader with excellent communication, stakeholder management skills, and a focus on talent development and succession planning within the supply chain organization.
