Product Manager Project Intern (TikTok Product Content Ecosystem) - 2026 Start

Overview TikTok's Content Ecosystem team is responsible for the health and prosperity of content users and creators to improve DAU in the long term. The team deeply dives into tracking the entire content ecosystem to identify potential challenges and opportunities, and cooperates closely with the RD team on model recognition, content understanding, algorithms, traffic balancing across formats, traffic distribution optimization, content diversification, creator moderation experience, and user interaction experience. Responsibilities As a project intern, you will engage in impactful short‑term projects that provide practical, real‑world experience. You will gain skills through on‑the‑job learning in a fast‑paced environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. The internship requires on‑site work 5 days per week for at least 6 months (immediate availability preferred). Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for mobile and web‑based products and platforms. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products. Drive product development with world‑class engineers and designers while maintaining team health. Work closely with various teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources, and guide the team through key milestones. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and track key performance indicators. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm. Qualifications Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, data science, product management, or a related discipline. Ability to commit to on‑site work 5 days per week for at least 6 months. Foundational understanding of product management or product design, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or internships. Experience analyzing data sets from academic projects or coursework and making data‑informed recommendations. Experience gathering and translating requirements through academic or internship projects. Basic technical proficiency with analytical tools, methodologies, and design principles. Strong communication skills demonstrated through presentations, group projects, or internships. Preferred Qualifications Experience identifying significant opportunities and driving product vision, strategy, and roadmaps within broader organizational goals. Experience working through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback, prioritizing, and executing pre/post‑launch activities. Enthusiasm and resilience in a constantly evolving environment where process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm. Job Information Pay Transparency Hourly rate range: $35‑$35. Compensation is hourly for a campus intern.
