Senior Systems Administrator

Employment Type: Full Time, Senior-level Department: Legal/IT CGS is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency. Responsibilities Manage the archiving of Relativity databases; develop, manage, and document a workflow process to identify, archive, and delete materials in accordance with destruction policies and NARA instruction. Report to the Contractor IT Manager, Systems Manager, or Lead Project Manager. Consult with COR, Government Case Managers, and trial attorneys regarding system requirements and technical approaches. Determine system and project requirements based on collected information. Design entire systems to meet those requirements. Execute full range of technical support on smaller projects, including validations and testing. Perform systems evaluations. Present findings, recommendations, and specifications through formal reports and oral presentations. Coordinate with COR on task orders, scheduling, personnel assignments, priorities, progress reporting, staffing, and cost estimation. Report on contract and task‑order progress. Direct and supervise personnel assigned to tasks, ensuring adherence to work standards and that technical design meets functional requirements. Ensure successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control. Prepare system and technical documentation. Work under the configuration management plan. Oversee the technical aspects of tasks. Organize and lead user training sessions on developed systems. Prepare training materials and manuals. Qualifications Significant experience with Relativity, including creation of ARM workflows and SOPs. At least five years of hands‑on experience in relevant system environments. Broad knowledge of government IT environments, office automation networks, and PC/server databases. Experience in a litigation support environment is highly beneficial. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong supervisory experience preferred. Ability to lead a technical team and design system solutions responsive to attorneys’ needs. Undergraduate degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred. Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance. Desired Skills Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Infrastructure Specialist Certificate.
