As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in supporting our residents by helping provide nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and contributing to a positive experience for those we serve.If you are dependable, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in helping others, we would love to meet you!What You'll DoAs a Dietary Aide, you will support the Dietary Services team by:Assisting with the preparation and portioning of cold food items, beverages, snacks, and nourishments.Preparing, labeling, and organizing between-meal snacks and maintaining nourishment area stock.Assisting with meal setup, tray preparation, delivery, and service.Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, trays, and other service ware in accordance with infection control and food safety standards.Maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary work environment.Following established food handling procedures, dietary policies, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Working collaboratively with the Dietary Services Department and other members of the Center team.Reporting safety concerns, hazardous conditions, and equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.Completing required training and attending departmental and Center meetings as assigned.Treating residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members with dignity, kindness, and respect.Following all infection prevention, safety, and sanitation practices.Performing other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for team members who are:Dependable, positive, and ready to work.Passionate about helping and serving others.Able to work well as part of a team.Committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.Able to follow instructions and established food safety procedures.Friendly, respectful, and professional when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers.Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with food preparation preferred. 3. Able to understand and follow directions. 4. Good interpersonal skills.Physical Requirements1.
