Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State RN license
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Demonstrated experience in diabetic medication administration and care
• Previous experience as a school nurse strongly preferred
• Capacity to manage both routine and urgent student health needs
• Ability to adapt to varied workspaces within the school campus
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing support to students, focusing on diabetic care and medication administration
• Respond to health emergencies and daily health concerns within both the school nurse room and portable locations
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote health and safety throughout the school community
• Maintain accurate student health records and ensure documentation complies with all regulations
• Serve as a health resource, providing education and outreach to students and staff
• Uphold best practices in infection control and medication policies
