Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience for a tertiary hospital and OB/GYN clinic setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience required
• BLS and ARRT (S) or ARDMS (Registered Medical Sonographer) certification required
• ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications preferred
• License required if applicable
• Level 3 trauma center experience

Responsibilities

• Tertiary hospital with 220 staffed beds and an affiliated OB/GYN clinic
• OB/GYN ultrasound caseload averaging 10-15 patients daily
• 4x9 hour shifts Monday through Thursday (7:30 AM - 5 PM) plus a half day Friday (8 AM - 12 PM)
• No on-call requirements
• No weekend requirements
• No floating between service lines or to sister facilities
• Uses GE and Siemens ultrasound equipment
• Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Black and teal scrubs required
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront and is subject to facility approval based on needs
• During hurricane season (June through November), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
