Radiologic Technologist Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and working closely with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiologic exams, while following safety protocols and established guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Operate imaging equipment and conduct routine maintenance and quality control checks to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate image interpretation and diagnosis.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and healthcare standards.
• Educate patients about the imaging process, addressing any questions and concerns to alleviate anxiety.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid state license (Illinois).
• Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, safety standards, and patient care procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient comfort and clarity.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
