CNC Machinist/Programmer Lathe

People Architects is proud to partner with a well-established manufacturing facility in Solon, Ohio, known for its craftsmanship in low-volume, high-precision machining. We are seeking skilled and trainable CNC Machinists who are eager to contribute their experience—or expand their capabilities—in a collaborative, high-quality production environment.

Responsibilities : 

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines and machining centers (2–5 axis)


• Ensure proper tooling, offsets, and machine settings for accurate part production


• Troubleshoot basic machining issues to maintain quality and minimize downtime


• Produce low-volume, high-value components—typically 1 to 10 pieces per job


• Work from blueprints and technical drawings with a focus on precision and efficiency

Qualifications (required and preferred) : 

• Hands-on machining experience (5+ years preferred) or a strong technical foundation with willingness to be trained


• Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings


• Solid understanding of tooling, offsets, and machine operations


• Strong attention to detail, math skills, and problem-solving ability


• Ability to follow written procedures and work independently with minimal supervision


• Personal tools preferred
