Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Chattanooga, TN $20.00 per Hour Night Shift Only | 7:00 PM - 8:30 AM

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and behavioral support to clients Assist with daily living activities including grooming, meals, and toileting Monitor patient safety through routine observation and rounding Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support services Implement individualized behavioral plans Encourage client independence and participation in treatment programs Maintain accurate documentation per facility policies and procedures Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patient care

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health, Mental Health, DSP, CNA, or related experience preferred CPR certification preferred (if applicable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Computer proficiency required Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
