Client Overview
Our client is a large academic health system operating multiple hospitals, clinics, and research facilities. This role sits within a procurement team supporting capital equipment, construction, and facilities sourcing across a complex, mission driven organization.

What You'll Do
- Manage sourcing projects across capital equipment, facilities, construction, renovation, and maintenance categories
- Partner with facilities, project management, clinical, finance, legal, and operational stakeholders to define requirements and sourcing strategies
- Lead or support supplier outreach, RFP and RFI processes, bid analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
- Review purchase and contract documentation for alignment with procurement policy and project requirements
- Support contract renewals, amendments, and issue resolution on existing agreements
- Maintain documentation of sourcing activity, recommendations, and contract status
- Help ensure continuity of active projects during the coverage period
What We Need From You
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or contracting experience
- Experience sourcing capital equipment, facilities, construction, or renovation services
- Strong supplier negotiation and contract review skills
- Ability to work independently and become productive quickly on a short assignment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred / Bonus
- Experience in a hospital, health system, university, or other large complex organization
- Prior experience as a Capital Equipment Buyer or Facilities Procurement Manager
- Familiarity with healthcare capital projects and equipment sourcing specifically
