Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare and position patients, follow physician scanning instructions, and operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images. The position supports a hospital radiology department using GE MRI systems and Cerner EMR. Candidates will work within a team of imaging professionals and contribute to patient-centered diagnostic services in Asheville, NC. Minimum Qualifications: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI. State MRI licensure as required by North Carolina. MRI registration is required by the client. Experience performing MRI contrast and non-contrast studies. Familiarity with GE MRI equipment. BLS certification. Ability to wear black scrubs as unit dress code. Floating to other facilities may be required. Preferred Qualifications: Breast MRI experience. Prior experience in a Level II trauma center or large hospital setting. Assignment Details Shift hours: 18:00–06:30. Night shift schedule. EMR: Cerner. Type of equipment: GE MRI systems. Unit staffing includes approximately 9 staff members per unit. Dress code: black scrubs. Rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities.
