Position: Registered Nurse – Telemetry $$SN$$
Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana
Shift: Days – 3x12s (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Duration: 17 weeks

Job Duties

• Provide safe, effective, patient- and family-centered nursing care to a designated group of patients.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments according to patient condition and facility policies.

• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care.

• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.

• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout hospitalization and discharge.

• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff.

• Serve as a mentor/preceptor and promote teamwork within the unit.

• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and make independent decisions regarding patient care.

• Document patient care accurately using Epic.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient/acute care Telemetry RN experience

• Epic experience required

• BLS certification required

• NIHSS certification required

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required

• Strong patient assessment and clinical intervention skills

• Experience developing and implementing individualized care plans

• Strong patient and family education skills

• Effective communication, leadership, mentoring, and teamwork abilities

• Knowledge of quality improvement and regulatory compliance

• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)

• Every other weekend required
