Behavioral Health Technician (Part-time, Eve & Overnight)Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT's) monitor and assist adolescent clients in the residential milieu, lead activities designed to help the residents adjust to living in a community setting and assist the residents in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder. BHT's play an integral role in the day-to-day function of the clients' experience.Schedule:Part-Time 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week) Evening/OvernightEvening Shifts: 2pm-10:30pm, 4pm-12:30amOvernight Shifts: 10pm-6:30amEvery other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday)Schedule is made a month at a time with a combination of both evening and overnight shiftsCompensation Disclosure:BHT I: Starting hourly range between $18.00-$21.00Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position.How BHT's Empower Recovery:Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programmingParticipates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreationAvailable to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in chartsMonitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise.Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checksQualifications:An Associate's degree in a mental health–related field (such as mental or behavioral health, counseling, or behavioral sciences) is required to meet Minnesota DHS licensure standards for the Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker classification.Or a high school diploma and at least one year / 2,000 hours of direct patient care experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is also required.What We Offer:Employee Benefits: We understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits package.
