General Production Worker

Production WorkerThis role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks to support daily operations within a frozen food manufacturing facility. The position requires working in refrigerated and freezer environments and assists with material handling, sanitation, packaging support, palletizing, and other labor-intensive duties while ensuring safety, quality, and food safety standards are met.ResponsibilitiesPerform general labor duties throughout the facility as assigned.Move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products between work areas.Stack, sort, organize, and palletize products and materials.Assist with loading and unloading trucks, materials, and deliveries.Maintain clean and organized production, warehouse, and storage areas.Remove trash, scrap materials, and other waste from work areas.Assist with sanitation and cleaning of equipment, workstations, and facility areas.Support production teams by supplying materials and removing completed pallets.Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as trained.Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, OSHA regulations, and food safety procedures.Work safely in refrigerated and freezer environments as required.Report damaged products, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisors.Assist with inventory movement, storage, and general facility support duties.Support team members and other departments as needed to meet operational goals.Other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsPrevious general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred but not required.Ability to work in cold, refrigerated, and freezer environments.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Strong work ethic and reliability.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in refrigerated, freezer, or temperature-controlled environments is a plus.Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Willingness to assist in multiple areas of the facility as operational needs change.Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to support sanitation, material handling, and general facility duties as needed.Strong attention to detail while handling products, materials, and equipment.Ability to identify safety hazards, quality concerns, or damaged materials and report issues promptly.Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.Basic problem-solving skills related to material movement and general labor activities.Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate work practices.Apply common sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instructions.Adapt to changing priorities and daily operational needs.Make sound decisions regarding material handling, workplace safety, and task completion.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational or safety concerns.Demonstrate dependability and accountability in completing assigned responsibilities.Why Work Here?This position offers the opportunity to transition to a direct role with the company, along with potential for raises and contract buyout.
